Beach House
When the tide is rising, the spot in front of the Beach House is perfectly protected by an offshore reef. As a result, the water in front of the house is much calmer than anywhere else.

Barra Grande
The side-onshore wind from the right and the long sandy beach of Barra Grande also make this top spot perfect for beginners and intermediate kiters.
Lagoa
2 km downwind a huge lagoon is formed at high tide. Behind the protective sandbank, which runs 90 degrees to the wind, you have flat water as smooth as glass, even in strong winds. If you don't want to upwind or want to enjoy the session in the lagoon until sunset, you can easily return to Barra Grande with the donkey cart taxi
Macapa
The flat water spot Macapa is 4 kilometers downwind. It takes 10 minutes by kite to get there from Barra Grande. But note: the way back is against the wind and there is a large river in between! The donkey car taxi is only waiting on the other side of the river.

Barrinha
The next bay, Barrinha, is already 700 meters upwind. A small wave builds up in front of the river mouth. At high tide you can kite into the river. In front of the beach the water is shallow and pleasantly flat.

We are not a kite station. That's why we are proud to have the famous Beach Restaurant, Trabalha Brasil on our premises - at the Kitespot. This beach bar restaurant has a long tradition in Barra Grande and it’s ideal for a light meal and a cool drink between sessions or a caipirinha at sunset.
